Theres nothing here!!

Hello and greetings from Hamilton, NY! My sister wanted to visit Colgate University so we drove from the country house to this town. We stopped at the Herkimer Diamond mines to humor my geology obsession and I must say, it was pretty fun. I could go into a whole lecture on these special quartz crystals. We met a family from Verona, NY that had the 3 sweetest girls ever. The two little ones seemed lonely and hung out with us the whole time. I really wish I had gotten their emails or something. So now after driving almost 4 hours through nothing but cow and corn farms, we’re here in small town, USA. It is too weird and I wish I was back at my house. The town is unbelievably small and everyone was staring at us when we went to take a walk tonight. We asked for seltzer at pizza hut and the lady looked at us like we all had 3 heads. One thing I love though is the houses are old old OLD houses and they are just beautiful. I mean, the town was founded in 1806, which is relatively new, but I don’t think anything has changed since then. My sister is out to prove to us that this is the greatest school in the world and that she loves it. I’m afraid that she will say anything to prove us all wrong. In any case, I miss everyone of you and would love to hear from you!

Shouldve put this up sooner…

But things have been completely utterly and beyond insane around my house since sunday night. Sunday night my dad collapsed and had to be rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. It turns out he had a blood clot in his pulmonary artery (which links the lungs and heart). They had to do surgery to remove the clot. Dad is recovering well so far but still my family is asking everyone to pray for Dad’s speedy and complete recovery. Thanks in advance to all of you. Hope all is well with all of you.

How to Sleep Comfortably on a Hot Night

When it’s extremely hot out, and you do not have air conditioning, it’s difficult to fall asleep. You can toss and turn to no avail. All this movement will make you even hotter than you already are. There are ways to get cool and remain cool long enough for you to fall asleep.
Full article

I know…there are still some of us out here how still don’t have AC. You check out full article to get some pointers on keeping cool at night.

Oddness

My sister, Kathryn, took some pictures of everyone at Bridges and she was posting them on the website today. I was looking at them, and I (as a huge Orlando Bloom fan) noticed something very…err….interesting?

XD

see what you think:
