Summer High School Workshop


Since the summer of 2006, the Bridges To Computing (Bridges) program of the Computer and Information Science (CIS) department of Brooklyn College, with funding by the National Science Foundation (NSF) has hosted a summer computer science workshop for high school students. This summer workshop is designed to be an entertaining introduction to the vast array of topics within computer science. The workshop provides students with a solid understanding of how computer systems work, and gives them hands-on experience in a variety of computing technology fields.

Starting in 2010 students who succesfully complete a "College Now - Bridges to Computing" summer workshop can earn high school science credits through the Brooklyn College College Now program.
